Student art show at County museum
A group of adult student artists will exhibit their work through the month of February at the Klamath County Museum's Modoc Gallery.

KLAMATH FALLS, Ore. - The annual exhibition highlights original, contemporary, representational art by over 30 artists from throughout the West. The show includes oil, pastel, watercolor, acrylic, mixed media, and bronze & wood sculpture. The exhibition features landscape, plein-air, western, figure, still life, wildlife, historical art, and more in a variety of artistic styles.

KLAMATH FALLS, Ore. - On Friday, July 14 along Main Street in Klamath Falls, works by artists Dino Gay, Cheyanne Lundsten, and Marie Richardson; along with a painted tile mosaic by the Sky Lakes Cancer Treatment Center was installed as part of Phase 2 of the Alley Activation Project.

Klamath Marsh photo exhibit at Modoc Gallery
KLAMATH FALLS, Ore. - Photographs of the Klamath Marsh National Wildlife Refuge taken by Judith Hassen will be exhibited in the Klamath County Museum's Modoc Gallery through May and June. The marsh, with some of its isolated features and surroundings, is shown in different seasons.

Alley Activation Project continues
KLAMATH FALLS, Ore. - In 2022 Healthy Klamath was able to install 4 beautiful pieces of art on the exterior wall of a building downtown thanks to the AARP 2022 Community Challenge grant. Due to the success of this initial project, Healthy Klamath announces that in 2023 they plan to continue these beautification efforts.

Downtown art project seeks local artists
KLAMATH FALLS, Ore. - In partnership with the Klamath Falls Downtown Association, Healthy Klamath was selected as one of the grantees for the AARP Community Challenge. The project that was selected is the Alleyway Art Project, otherwise known as the Alleyway Activation Project. Organizers are excited about this opportunity as out of 3500 applicants only 259 were selected.
RRT Offers youth theater camp
KLAMATH FALLS, Ore. - Ross Ragland Theater will be beginning their second series of youth summer theater camps for ages 10-18 starting Monday, July 25, and will run until August 12. Youth will be engaging with the theater Monday thru Friday from 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM.
