Thousands gather for 3rd Thursday
KLAMATH FALLS, Ore. - After 10 years, 3rd Thursday has become a tradition in Klamath Falls. Maybe it is the live music, the aroma of fresh food, friends, community, or camaraderie - but there is something special about attending 3rd Thursday.
The community also agrees. As thousands came out to enjoy the festival together.
3rd Thursday showcases the city's unique spirit and fosters a sense of togetherness while exploring a bustling street market offering an array of local crafts, handmade goods, and delectable treats. From artisanal food vendors to talented artists displaying their creations, the event is a treasure trove of unique finds.
Live music was featured from one end to the other filling the air with infectious rhythms and melodies. SLAP played on a stage right in the middle of the street by the historic Oregon Bank Building. Local favorite Dana Wirth played an intimate set inside The Ledge. Bucket sang his soulful renditions in Klamath Commons Park. A few additional musicians could be found jamming acoustically or plugged in as well.
“…we want to thank all of our volunteers, vendors, downtown businesses, and most importantly all of the community members that came out to support this year's kick-off 3rd Thursday Event,” said the Klamath Falls Downtown Association on their Facebook Page. “Without every one of you, this event wouldn't be the success it has grown to be.
The next 3rd Thursday is July 20, followed by the final event on August 17 both run from 6:00 PM - 9:00 P.M
