Student art show at County museum

“Wagon Wheel” by Helen O’Hara is among the paintings that are on display through February in the Klamath County Museum’s Modoc Gallery.

KLAMATH FALLS, Ore. - A group of adult student artists will exhibit their work through the month of February at the Klamath County Museum's Modoc Gallery.

The students are working on their techniques under the instruction of Susan Liskey, who conducts weekly classes at the Museum. Liskey offers instruction in oil and acrylics, with a focus on blending colors on canvas and softening edges with a fan brush.

Exhibitors include June Bell, Luisa Freeman, Billie Hagerman, Penny Hansen, Mary Johnson, Cindy Kalisch, and Helen O'Hara.

A reception for the artists will be held from noon to 3 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 10.

Admission to the gallery is free during regular museum hours, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday.
