KLAMATH FALLS, Ore. -  On Friday, July 14 along Main Street in Klamath Falls, works by artists Dino Gay, Cheyanne Lundsten, and Marie Richardson; along with a painted tile mosaic by the Sky Lakes Cancer Treatment Center was installed as part of Phase 2 of the Alley Activation Project.

The works comprise a colorful variety of topics and styles but the sense of community and love for our city was the evident unifying theme. They are not only visually delightful, but also offer a message of positivity and hope.

“Peace Hearts,” by Gay is a vibrant pop-art contribution.

Richardson composed a colorful scene looking at Main Street from above.

Lindsten’s work is an ode to all the wonderful nature and activities around us.

The mosaic depicting a beautiful scene of a cabin along Spring Creek was completed by the patients and staff of the Sky Lakes Cancer Treatment Center.

Cathy Nevala, whose work was part of phase 1 of the project, was honored during the event. Her husband Mark and daughter Bret were there to share her legacy and shared the celebration of her memory.

Cathy recently lost her battle with cancer.

Alley Activation Project founder and manager Kelsey Mueller Wendt hosted the event and recognized all the contributions of those who were involved.
