BONANZA, Ore. - The little community of Bonanza had much to offer this last weekend for those willing to make the short commute. The 20th annual Bonanza Extravaganza had ample activities that could gain the interest of any participant.
Fair opens Thursday, Aug. 3; Final prep underway
KLAMATH FALLS, Ore. - It takes a small village to put on the Klamath County Fair, it does not just come together at the last minute - preparations have been underway since last year’s fair. The Klamath County Fair Board and Fairgrounds Management & Staff have been diligently working behind the scenes for nearly a year to get ready for the biggest four-day party in the Klamath Basin.

Registration open for Youth Theater Camp
KLAMATH FALLS, Ore. - Registration is now open for the Youth Theater Summer Camp at the Ross Ragland Theater for youth ages 10-18. The camp is offered for three full weeks from July 24th to August 11th with full day sessions Monday-Friday from 8:30AM - 3:30PM.
A one of a kind livestock show, featuring a different style of Showmen
KLAMATH FALLS, Ore. - There is a “one-of-a-kind” livestock show happening on August 5, during the Klamath County Fair. While the week of the fair will be busy for many local kids participating in showing their 4-H and FFA projects, the focus of the Alternative Stock Show Classic (ASSOC) will be on a different style of showmen.
Tour of historic IOOF building offered
KLAMATH FALLS, Ore. - A tour of the three-story IOOF building will be offered Saturday, July 22, by the Klamath County Museum and the Klamath Falls Downtown Association. Space is limited for the free tour, which will be offered at various times during the morning.

Tour of Mount Dome offered
KLAMATH FALLS, Ore. – A driving tour around Mount Dome in Siskiyou County will be offered Saturday, June 17, by the Klamath County Museum. The tour will include several miles over primitive roads, and is not recommended for passenger cars. High-clearance four-wheel-drive vehicles are advised. Space on the tour is limited.
Volunteers sought for second annual KCC Comic-Con
KLAMATH FALLS, Ore. - Send up the Bat Signal! A call for superheroes to save the day is going out across Klamath County to make the Klamath Community College Comic-Con an even bigger event in 2023 – with more than 2,000 attendees anticipated on the KCC campus throughout the day on Saturday, July 15.
