Astronomy events slated by Museum
KLAMATH FALLS, Ore. - An astronomy event offered by the Klamath County Museum on Sunday, Sept. 17, will serve as a warm-up activity for next month’s annular eclipse that will be visible across Klamath County.
Program to conclude Modoc War series
A program about the criminal trial of Modoc Indians in 1873 will be presented at 7 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 14, at the Klamath County Museum, 1451 Main St. in Klamath Falls.

KLAMATH FALLS, Ore. - A walking history tour of a section of Main Street east of the railroad underpass in Klamath Falls will be offered by the Klamath County Museum at 9 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 9.
A folkin’ good time
KLAMATH FALLS, Ore. – The Klamath Folk Festival may have come and gone, but the hours of entertainment by twelve acts on two stages will not be soon forgotten. The cowboy poetry and music of Forrie J. Smith of the hit TV series Yellowstone headlined the festival.
Ride the Rim returns for 2023
KLAMATH FALLS, Ore. - Crater Lake National Park, in partnership with Friends of Crater Lake and Discover Klamath, will host the annual Ride the Rim days on September 9 and September 16, 2023. On these consecutive Saturdays, East Rim Drive from North Junction to Park Headquarters will be closed to motorized vehicles from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM to allow for non-motorized recreation, including biking, hiking, and running.
Baldwin Museum closing for season
KLAMATH FALLS, Ore. - The Baldwin Hotel Museum will conclude its summer season on Saturday, Sept. 2. A new display in the hotel lobby features vintage ladies’ shoes from the museum’s collection.

Collier Park celebrates logging history
CHILOQUIN, Ore. - Upon entry into the Collier Logging Museum, the rustic sounds and classic smells of old diesel engines filled the air as the annual log truck show had taken over the park. Visitors were greeted with a beautiful row of historic logging trucks just inside the gate. Walking deeper into the park, the atmosphere transitioned from the rumble of diesel to the pleasant melodies of live music and the nostalgic smell of breakfast.
Klamath Folk Festival returns Saturday
KLAMATH FALLS, Ore. - Klamath Folk Alliance, in partnership with the Ross Ragland Theater in Klamath Falls, OR, is thrilled to announce the return of the annual Klamath Folk Festival on Saturday, August 26, 2023. The event will feature 12 performances across two stages at the Ragland complex from 3-10 pm, along with children’s activities, food and beverage vendors.
