A folkin’ good time
KLAMATH FALLS, Ore. – The Klamath Folk Festival may have come and gone, but the hours of entertainment by twelve acts on two stages will not be soon forgotten. The cowboy poetry and music of Forrie J. Smith of the hit TV series Yellowstone headlined the festival.
Under Klamath Skies
KLAMATH FALLS, Ore. - Beginning on May 4 and running through August 3, original songwriters, storytellers, and musical artists will gather to highlight the history, cultures, and creativity of the Klamath Basin. Titled “Under Klamath Skies,” the series dates are scheduled for the first Thursdays of May through August at 6:30 pm at the Klamath County Museum.
Klamath Folk announces scholarship
KLAMATH FALLS, Ore. - Local music nonprofit Klamath Folk Alliance in partnership with Kiwanas Club of Klamath Falls is honored to announce the launch of the first annual Glenn Justus Memorial Scholarship.
Hundreds of Irish emigrants came to Oregon; Corey Murphy sings their songs
KLAMATH FALLS, Ore. - Corey Murphy will perform songs from Ireland, some of which have not been performed for an audience in over 80 years, at the Klamath Folk Alliance Showcase Series Thursday, March 2 alongside sixth-generation Klamath rancher and musician Dana Wirth.
KFA Showcase starts off strong
KLAMATH FALLS, Ore. - Klamath Folk Alliance, the nonprofit organization behind the annual Klamath Folk Festival, announced their 2022-2023 KFA Showcase Series line-up of performers last month. Shows occur on the first and third Thursdays of November through April at Mia & Pia’s Pizzeria & Brewhouse from 6:00 - 8:00 PM.
