Thousands attend opening day of the Klamath County Fair

KLAMATH FALLS, Ore. - On Thursday, thousands from the community gathered at the Klamath County Fairgrounds for opening day of the 2022 Klamath County Fair. Headlining act of the day included country icon Rodney Atkins performing live on the Event Center stage to an audience of nearly three thousand. Throughout the day thousands more roamed the grounds experiencing carnival thrills, eating delicious food from the newly expanded food court, visiting vendors & exhibits, and watching the 4-H / FFA youth show their animals.

Outlaw Mariachi showcased their talent on the KLAD Main Stage playing an exciting set of covers of country, rock, and classic rock, in a mariachi style with a flair of machismo.

If you did not make it out for Thursday, there are three more jam-packed days remaining in the 2022 Klamath County Fair. Friday evening, country music legend Martina McBride will perform on the Event Center stage and rockers American Mile will be the showcase on the KLAD Main Stage.

Saturday afternoon, the energetic carnage of the Demolition Derby will be in the outdoor arena. Saturday night, Daughtry the Dearly Beloved Tour, will make its way to Southern Oregon as they play all their hits at the fair.

Sunday, is family day at the fair with free admission and the annual Junior Livestock Auction.
