KLAMATH FALLS, Ore. - Opening for the Ross Ragland Theater’s 2023/24 season is Pacific Northwest folksy artist The JuneBugs. Imagine if Neil Young and Janis Joplin had three love children, and those children grew up to like Folk Rock and Hip Hop. This is what the audience can expect to kick their heels up to during the concert happening Friday, October 6th, 2023 at 7:30 PM.

There is little something for every kind of music lover during this season opener. Covering everything from Tom Petty to TLC to Taylor Swift, the eclectic taste of the trio ranges from turn-of-the-century Americana to modern Hip Hop, with a strong emphasis on vocal harmony.

Their original tunes have a dreamy, sweet quality, which will leave you mesmerized and wanting to hear more.

The Junebugs originated on the Vancouver, BC, circuit before moving back home to Portland, OR. There, guitarist Barrett picked up drummer Kyle Owen and bassist Nathaniel Daniel to round out the dynamic trio. Their high-energy show hits major cities across the PNW, and is the perfect way for the theater to open its upcoming season.

“The JuneBugs are definitely one of the highest anticipated shows of the season,” says Natalie Postles, Marketing Director for the Ross Ragland, “This is about to be an incredible concert that people don't want to miss.”

Get ready to be captivated by the enchanting melodies of The JuneBugs, with original songs like “Follow You Down” and “Call Me Al.” Find tickets while they’re available at ragland.org

This show is sponsored by the Epicenter and co-sponsored by Lynne & Dave LeBlanc, and Jean Pinniger.
