Ride the Rim returns for 2023

KLAMATH FALLS, Ore. - Crater Lake National Park, in partnership with Friends of Crater Lake and Discover Klamath, will host the annual Ride the Rim days on September 9 and September 16, 2023. On these consecutive Saturdays, East Rim Drive from North Junction to Park Headquarters will be closed to motorized vehicles from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM to allow for non-motorized recreation, including biking, hiking, and running.

CLNP: Ranger-led snowshoe walks begin for the winter season

CRATER LAKE, OR – Crater Lake National Park staff is pleased to announce that our popular ranger-guided snowshoe walks have begun for the 2022-2023 winter season. The walks take place on Saturdays, Sundays, and most holidays, from December 17 through April 30. They will also be offered daily from December 17 through January 2 and from March 25 through April 1. Snowshoes are provided free of charge and no previous snowshoeing experience is necessary.
