Santa Claus is Coming to Town

KLAMATH FALLS, Ore. - Now that Thanksgiving is over it is now time to kick the holiday season into full swing with the 38th annual Klamath Snowflake Festival. Since 1984, the Klamath Snowflake Festival has ushered in the Christmas season with two weeks of events. Events that unite and entertain the community.

A few key dates for this year’s festival include - December 5 at 6:00 PM for the Tree Lighting Ceremony in Klamath Commons Park and December 8 at 7:00 PM for the iconic Klamath Snowflake Parade down Main Street.

Santa Claus will be making several appearances throughout the Basin over the next 14 days. Locations hosting Saint Nick include:

  • December 2: Fairfield Realty

  • December 6: Fairfield Inn and Oregon DHS

  • December 9: Rogue Credit Union (Dahlia Street Branch) and The Children’s Museum of Klamath Falls

  • December 10: Coldwell Banker, Ella Redkey Pool, and Mia & Pia’s Pizzaria

Other events involving the festival also include:

  • December 5-10: Gingerbread House Competition at the Ross Ragland Theater

  • December 9-11: Singing Christmas Tree at the Ross Ragland Theater

  • December 10-11: Living Nativity Scene at Mountain Valley Gardens
