Linkville Playhouse cancels final peformances of ‘Uncommon Women and Otherss’ due to COVID

KLAMATH FALLS, OR –– The last four scheduled performances of the dramatic comedy, Uncommon Women and Others –– directed by Richard Hoffman –– at the Linkville Playhouse, have been canceled due to “unprecedented levels of illness” within the show's cast and crew.
The trouble began last weekend when the theater announced that they would be canceling their Saturday evening (January 28 at 7:30 p.m.) and Sunday matinee (January 29 at 2:00 p.m.) performances, due to multiple people testing positive for COVID-19.
There were hopes of reopening for the final two nights of performances this weekend, but the number of positive COVID cases and other illnesses within the show's cast and crew has only continued to rise this past week, forcing the Playhouse to make the tough decision.
The theater ultimately decided to cancel the entire rest of the show's run.
The affected performances are Friday, February 3 at 7:30 PM and Saturday, February 4 at 7:30 PM.
The Linkville Playhouse is encouraging ticketholders to hang on to their tickets for future use. If you have purchased a ticket to one of the canceled performances, you will be able to exchange it for a complimentary ticket to another performance through the 2022-23 season at the Playhouse.
